To kick off 2011, I thought to do a little practice on character design. It's fun to do using new technique, and the result is satisfying. This'll be in my portofolio for sure

From left to right:

1. Random sexy girl. The outfit is inspired from ~Kashirohato 's work. I wanted it to be a generic J-RPG design, cheerful and full of colors.

2. Katana-swinging babe. I did her sketch long time ago and decided to finished it.

3. A stewardess uniform from Smile Airlines. This is inspired from 'Fifth Element'. When I saw the uniform in the movie I just thought, "Damn, I'll take flight everyday if the stewardesses dress like that!"

4. Remake of my old OC, Maxwell. I realize I rarely (if never) draw guys, so here it is, a proof that I can draw guys too..

Wah? Masukan? Kayaknya kk udah ngelakuin yang terbaik kalau saya lihat. Semuanya epic already. Karakter mana yang kakak bikin jelek? Ngga ada tuh. Keren semua. Characters saya aja simple banget semuanya. Pose-nya pun sederhana pula.

Tapi mungkin kakak boleh lihat sebagian Character Art dari Internet. Dan mungkin kakak bisa bikin Character-character modern. Entah itu ala Hip-Hop kah. Ato yang berkonsep Fantasy pun kah. Itu tergantung kakak. Yang terpenting jangan buru-buru buatnya. Pikirin baik-baik dan matang. Kalau emang designnya udah bagus, baru boleh diputuskan. Kalau kurang, kita diskusiin aja lagi. Kita punya banyak waktu kok~

Yo-i. Bener tuh boss. Game characters emang lebih keren dari Anime. Kadang Anime ngga terlalu bagus. Paling yang Anime populer doang boss. Oh iya, jangan lupa boss. Senjatanya juga yang mantep tuh. Kalau saya lagi focus ke Samurai sih^^

Terrific way to start off 2011 I say!
You always have something up your sleve when it comes to making hawt girlies, haha! I like the different personalities they give off here, like how the left lady looks like the shy type, the middle a tough macho (nice tatoo lay-dee!), and well futuristic stewadess lady mhmmm yes :3 I think the redesign of Maxwell is terrific, he looks like he can kick bad guy butt (or slice with reference to his gigantic sword, whichever way you see fit) >8)
Meheheh the fruity colors on the left lady's costume kinda remind me of Suikoden character designs (I am currently playing Suikoden 5, haha!)

I promised to do more bg but I ended up drawing more characters hahaha.. Drawing something like this is fun, kinda remind me back on 2009. Only back then I couldn't do such coloring

Darn, you're playing suiko 5 now? If only I still got the cd working, I want to play too Haven't touched any game since a long long time ago.

The leftmost girl must've reminded you of Sialeeds or Lyon.. or even the sissy main character lol

I like using character deviations good for some design practice! Especially around the fantasy realm XD Blast from the past eh??

I'm still early in the game, I definitely enjoy the duels and cutscenes X)
Indeed the main character looks sissy (his colours reminded me of your design the most though, haha) which is sad, because he had a cute boy face

You can say that, I just love redrawing some of my older works. Kinda cool to see the changes between then and now..

ky kaki cewe yg pertama, pahanya keliatan gede sebelah,
ato pundak ce yg kedua~
tipsnya sh, sering2 flip horizontal canvas,
soalnya emang ada perbedaan saat kita
liat suatu objek secara kebalik (seringnya sh, balancenya)
