Description
Here's another shot that shows off the entire outfit pretty well. At the start of the creation process for this I spent a lot of time looking at various illustrations of Kefka both official and fan-made as a sort of research phase for the project. There's a lot of different interpretations of Kefka out there in both official and fan-made material, ranging from fairly simple to extremely complex... I edged rather more towards the complex end of the spectrum though, as it seemed it'd be more fun to figure out and make and'd end up just looking a lot cooler. (:

The design I ended up going with is (as should be pretty obvious) mostly based on the most well-known Amano illustration ([link] ) and the Dissidia design, because as much apathy as I have for Dissidia it's the one with the most clear visual material to reference, and moreover a pretty effective combination of elements from a number of different Amano illustrations. I also wove several details from the other Amano artwork and from fanart into the design and made my own innovations where I saw fit, and I think it worked out pretty well!
