this is gooorgeous!! this is the first semi realistic approach ive seen and i would love to see a full bodied version, but no worries do it for yourself not the contest! youve entered so many already xD

Aaaa thank you.. I'd love to and actually been thinking of fitting scenario for her (I have a problem with BG's (still learning).. the contest inspired me so even if I don't win it's not a big deal really enjoyed doing the art <3

I know, I joined some in my past, put LOTS of effort in one piece and it didn't come anywhere near the fav of this person, so I decided if I ever join again it will be purely pleasure, fun to learn/progress short of bsiness for me.. and yeah that way I get more enjoyment out of it ^.^

Lovely work - her hair is especially well rendered (heh, do you have any tips?! I find hair very difficult to paint digitally, for some reason...

I'm in the learning proses myself with the hair, I'd say layers and layers of different shades and sizes of brushes and smudge tool in different strengths... Also there is great tutorials here in DA, I'm planning to try them out as well.. it's like you just keep on doing it until you are happy with it..
