Time to get back to a few European models. This is the 2006 Lotus Elise MK 3. I'm not sure if this is/has gone to production or if this is still a concept car but either way I like it os here's the chibi version.Related content

I've found that chibi mechs(robots in general) and mecha's(humanoid like or human controlled) are fun to do.

Hmmm, very cool. There's some definate undertones of the Europa S there. [link] With that closed in bonnet I wonder how they're venting the radiator now?

Good question. It may have been solved by this car never seeing production since it's almost impossible to find any references to it other than a Road & Track magazine.

Hmm, possibly...
...dammit, I'm intrigued now. I've never seen that style of body on an Elise before (and Lotus keep insisting that the Europa isn't another Elise derivative). This is going to warrant further investigation me thinks.

Hmmm, looking at that a bit closer I can't help but wonder if it isn't a photo-manip job, something's just not quite right, particularly around the front wheels. They look like they're a bit angular in places. And I'm still worried about the radiator venting. If it's using the basic Elise chassis than the radiator HAS to vent up through the top of the bonnet.
Still, I reckon I'll have a hunt around, see if I can find anything else on this.

It could be a phot manipulation but this phot is also really bad quality. Looking at the one in the magazine, I can't see any of tell tale signs that it's a fake. If it is, it's possibly the best I've ever seen
