Description Every time I manage to break my corrent art block, it feels like a little victory.
I'm very happy with this drawing. turned out different from the image I had in my mind, but it's always like that, isn't it?

It's awefully hot here these days. Maybe that's why this piece turned out so winterish...

I've edit it for couple of times because the colors weren't right. but thats it, now it finally looks very close to the actual painting C:

yeah i love everything about this, the hair, and the expression u nailed it. totally get the feel off this. makes me wanna draw now. been awhile since i've picked up the paintbrush. love the blue, its what got me

did the hair with black ink, and then I painted over it with white acrylic (mixed with blue or purple watercolor xD) to get the highlights C:

It's beautiful! I especially love the hair and the clouds in the background, they look so real. But the expression is very well done, too. Only the scarf is a little too bright red in my opinion; it attracts too much attention and detracts it from the face.

I think you're right about the scarf. tho it didn't bother me until you mentioned it, haha.
thing is, all of the colors turned out faded in the photo I took, and when I fixed then in PS, it did bring out the red more than the other colors...so I might fix it (:

Ah fair enough, that happens a lot with my pictures, too. It's hard to get all colours across perfectly on the screen.
