I finished this a while ago, but haven't had time to upload due to massive amounts of HW for school! I'm happy witht he way it turned out. Thanks to Balaa and all her helpful fur tutorial links! She's the mastah of furriness
I used many stock photos (mostly very low res so I couldn't see a darn thing!) of lions for ref's to get me started, but most of it was from me own imaginings
UPDATE 7/09/07: I finally had time to paint in the last little details as well as fix the contrast an lighting. It looks soooooo much better than the older version! Also, I've included a higher res version for people who wish to print copies (I won't ever sell prints of this pic even though it's an original piece. Disney/Walden Media currently own copyrights on most anything related to Narnia, and I don't want to risk infringement or be accused of stealing. Also, Aslan is CS Lewis's creation, and it wouldn't be right to use his character for my own profit), just make sure that you don't steal (ie - give the me, the artist, credit for the work) or try to make a profit off of the image in any way, or I will hunt you down..... To save a copy of the larger image click on the download button.; a new window containing the larger version of the image should appear on screen. Right click and Save As. The image should be at 300 dpi, so basically you enlarge it to any size you want without losing too much quality. Enjoy

Nicely done! Here's a fun fact;
Did you know that the word ASLAN literally means lion in Turkish? And since I am from Turkey it really sounds hilarious to call him ASLAN. But I like him! I really like how brave he is s and other stuff... So, we actually watched him in our class and everyone was looking at me since I was the only Turkish person in the class! But literally you drew him very GOOD.
