It did indeed! Did you make it and then color it or did you make it with color in the first place. (I know nothing about fractals other than they are gorgeous... not all of them, some of them, and yours are!)

Well hun there are two important steps in fractal making: form and colouring. You create the colours on the fractal program for the colours change with the form. They are applied with mathematical equations as well. In my case, most of time I create the form first and they i start to play with the colours. Only if i can't achieve something I'm happy with (in colours, of course) I do use Photoshop for a boost or change of pallete.
But you have to have a good base to work with in the first place. Colours badly placed in the original work will not gain anything in image edition programs. They are part of the fractal itself, helping to shape the form.
Hope I didn't bother you to death with this lenghty explanation
and I'm very happy that you think my fractals are pretty. I miss doing them a lot!
