the biggest issue with committing to a drawing series is taking a break and coming back to it a few months later only to find that some of your drawing style/techniques have changed. i completed the fire and grass starter pieces in january this year but then procrastinated on the water one for the last couple of months haha x'D anyway, this one ended up with a lot more detail and background rendering and also the gen 8 starter (which the other two did not). might need to go back to the other ones just to add the final starter characters...anyway, this will probably be the only upload from me for the rest of the month! going to a conference and then travelling for a bit until the end of the may. see you all on the other side!

I think it might be based on this type of lizard that walks on water called the basilisk and the final evolution might be part dragon type

Oh I love basilisks! It's sad how they're only known for their water walking. They just look funny running on their hind legs, water or ground. They only really walk on water from jumping out of trees.
