Adobe Illustrator CS5
Tools used: Pencil tool, Blob Brush tool
Several different degrees of opacity to really get that "layered" look
Also used a couple of different blending modes: Normal, Multiply, Overlay, Hard Light, Darken, Soft Light

Trying to get into a regular habit of drawing/painting things through digital media. Since it IS, you know, my major. And I seriously need to improve my digital art skills, along with my usage of color.

So, here's a vector illustration of a tiger that I created this weekend! The pencil tool was my best friend here, along with lowering the opacity.

As I get time, I'll be creating a series of other "digital paintings" in this same style featuring the other big cats.
