Page 2 pencils for Narrative class. I'm looking forward to inking these more than I did penciling. I'm going to try out some different textures and layering techniques that I haven't before, so hopefully it'll turn out alright.Edit: COMPLETELY forgot to mention this, but the fourth panel is from the Predator's POV, in his thermal vision, which is why it's just line-work. I'm sure someone out there just thought I lost my mind.

Great composition. You might not like it completely, but it shows you've got the chops.
Also, I'm glad you're experimenting with panel design. Simple squares and rectangles can only go so far.

Thanks, funny thing is, I always experimented with different panel shapes and designs, until this school year. My narrative teacher said he preferred just rectangle shapes and felt anything else, including breaking panel borders, distracted from the narrative of the page. Of course, I wanted to do what he preferred (and it's always good to try out every way to do something, even if it appears to be more simple or not) so now I'm slowly transitioning what I've learned from that and mixing it with what worked before.

great stuff whats your turn around time? How long does it take you to do a page and what school are you attending?

I'm attending the Joe Kubert School in NJ, and it takes me a good 8 hours or so, all things depending, to pencil a narrative page. Inking varies greatly, sometimes 4 hours, sometimes 8 again. Other things are scattered too. Glad you like the page!
