I wanted to try practicing some more dynamic and active poses, so Kai was the perfect candidate! I wanted to explore how Kai would probably fight with his staff. Some of the poses I definitely need to improve on (like awkward foot angles are still a struggle for me :’) ).I am thinking however that Kai’s fighting style would probably be more oriented with Filipino martial arts. Which would be fun to research and draw!
