Description
My second attempt at a purely CG semi-realism work. I hope you enjoy it!*EDIT* I took some of the critiques into consideration and changed the picture a little, mostly his eyes and a tiny bit of his nose. Let me know what you think!

I really like what you did to the nose. 
Also, not sure if it's new or if I missed it before, the red glowing tint on the raven (?) is really awesome.

I believe I had it on the last one, but I brightened it up a bit on this draft. I also pulled in the ears and made them smaller, if you noticed a difference there.

I really liked the bird sitting there on the shoulder. Very cool looking.
As for crits, 'cause I'm assuming you want some;
The nose seems a little off kilter.
The eyes are really big (which size depends on style, so it depends on what you were aiming for)
And the head is very wide. It caught me off balance at first.
Nice piece and colors. I like the outfit too.

Yeah, I had huuuuge issues with the nose. You should have seen it before! The problem is finding a reference of a nose straight on, in a boy the right age, with the proper lighting is hard! And yes, the eyes are supposed to be pretty freaky big. Do you mean the head is just wide compared to the shoulders or neck? He is supposed to be young and looking up. Is it really that jarring?

The head is big compared to the head. o-o
It's the way you drew his ears. They pop right off the sides of his face (like a Mr. Potato Head, no offense. Just an example). Human ears usually lie more flatly against the side of the skull.

I'm going to rework the face a bit in a while, once I feel up to tackling it again, and I'll take a look at that.
