I just kinda went wild with the paint in this picture. I started working on him pretty late considering the "due date" that he had to be finished for the birthday themes pictures. So I was basically throwing paint around to see what would work and what wouldn't.
That staff is one of my favorite artifact weapons and the last time that I drew it I was less than happy with the turn out. I wanted to redeem myself with this birthday picture of Cenich my warlock.

I love how much he had developed over the years. The darkness and twisted is just so wonderful and this picture does him so much justice! I love the coloring on this! When I first saw it I wasn't sure there would be enough green but the green now looks amazing! Just perfect. You do not want to cross him for sure and I love that. The whole picture gives off that feeling. Wonderful and outstanding job!

You aren't the only one who mentioned this picture being on the darker side of his norm. I'm okay with it! I feel like he can be goofy and whimsical sometimes, but also can be quite scary and unpredictable.
I'm glad you like him! I had fun with the green, his bones/horns are the only parts that aren't regular cake watercolor (watercolor pencil instead).
