It was so alive. And there is a strange sense of respect. No one is too odd or too normal. It is like stars in their own little orbits, connecting one at a time or in little groups. Alive.

I had not been in Washington Square for three decades. Ironically, I remembered the arch as being much like the one in ChinaTown, not the actual one. So, perhaps I had a slightly altered state of consciousness on the previous visit. Still, it was amazing. If you are still on fb, there are photos.
