I've been doing mostly night work since it's winter. That should change in about a month.

I found myself doing the same. Some of it the lack of color... maybe a bit of seasonal depression.... When I find myself with cabin fever and the photo-itch,and if the opportunity exists to take my camera to work, I'll get some late night exposures.

I prefer T-MAX now. I was using Tri-X for a few months, but my exposures & prints from T-MAX are of much better quality. And That has as much to do with technique as it does with the quality of the film.
