I guess that would be kind of grisly to them! I know those maple seeds are a pain and plug up the "gutters" as you folks down south call 'em (we say "eavestroughs"), but they really are kind of beautiful things aren't they?

"Eavestroughs" seems to be mostly a Canadian thing. In Saskatchewan, specifically, we also call underwear "gotch" or "gitch", "hoodies" are "bunnyhugs" (seriously) and chocolate milk is referred to as "Vico", after a long-defunct brand name.

"gotch" and "gitch" applies to men's underwear too, maybe even more so than to panties. Such subtleties in the dialect, eh? I think I'll go have a Vico.
