I got a HP 2000 Notebook PC for 300.00 It kind of surprised me when I was using bryce. Rendering times have been cut in half. Windows 8 with the start screen and all the apps made the laptop really slow. So I have been doing some streamlining. Still have to find the right registry tweaks to finish the set up the way I want. I'm using classic shell for the start menu versus the start screen. Minimizing app usage so the computer is faster. Overall windows 8 not bad for a operating system. Just something to get use to and modify when time permits
