The home fleet put on a fine performance during the Autumn Gala. Not surprising, since this is their home soil. Lancashire & Yorkshire Class 27 No.12322 'Lanky A' leads the charge, with LMS Crab No.13065 keeping up. These two engines were absolutely flying along the rails, not bad going, considering they were built in the 1890s and 1920s respectively.Related content
