I borrowed this pose from an old painting of a child with her bulldog. I just love the vintage paintings of children with their dogs and wanted to capture that feel. The vintage dress she is wearing though is mine as a child's, how sad is that.
My old man boxer passed away and this bulldog Daisy came in to fill the hole he left. The boxer was my dog, but Daisy belongs, heart and soul, to this child.
