!!!!!Okay, this actually didn't take all that long once I got the lineart sketched. This is my very first attempt at a painting without the outlines/lineart... !!! GIRL KITTY!!
I actually did this is preparation/practice for a few gifts I'm going to make for Mother's Days or something, which I'm going to have printed up and such... so I need to get them done perfect, then save the money up and such. Maybe I'll do one of those things that makes it like an oil painting? Lolwolfcamera.
This is from a personal photo reference, from our trip up to Oregon for Thanksgiving.
I know there are a lot of transparencies, even though I did double up a lot of layers to give it bulk... I want to fix it, but at the same time it makes it look like the background is reflecting on her, right?

EDIT: I updated the file with a slightly orange brown behind her, the pink showing through was bothering me.

Waouh, I believed that it was a photo but after to have seen it closely, I find that it is better that a photo XD! Colors are very pleasant!
