These are loaded into the Carrier ship ya got? Know what really puts a damper on enemy ships? Minigun rockets. Has two Rotac-2 experimental single use mini mini-guns and they do a number on lighter craft. Diabolical on atmospheric fights when there's the possibility to be running down convoys. Can't really turn away lugs, eh? Ha, ha. Had a long talk with an ex-sky pirate friend of mine from the Northern Belkeriad. Told me a few of the military crafts he's been raiding carry those things. Rotacs were banned by the government, so they were being sold to the Duremn down south near where I'm from. Things got interesting when he took 'em all. Good 'ol Derune.

My capital ships use energy gatlings so far, but the Rotacs seem useful.

Westrian and UEG forces find energy based weaponry inefficient since their tech is a bit outdated compared to more modern militaries.

You may be runnin on Windows 20 with holographic display, but we're still on Win 98. We make do, and what we lack in tech, we make up for in thick armor and overly powerful conventional weaponry. Besides... hard to knock something out with an EMP if main electrical systems aren't a primary component to ship functions.

So it is like the minigun of today but instead of bullets they are micro rockets with some sor of penetrating warhead? I'm intrigued...
