Hello, I am Luis Camacho, a treehopper specialist from Ecuador. I believe the individual in the photograph may be an Alchisme erecta (a very rare species); in which case this may very well be the first photograph of a live specimen. Or, it may even be a new species to science. I beg you to send me or post other angles of the insect, specially lateral ones. I am also desperate to know the exact location where you took the photograph. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

¡Hola Luis! ¿Tú publicaste un trabajo sobre factores que afectan el parasitismo de huevos en membrácidos subsociales? Creo recordar que era alguien de apellido Camacho. You are an entomologist, right? I have to buy a macro capable of what yours does. While I am not a specialist in the invertebrate world, closeup photos of insects, arachnids, millipides and others fascinate me.
