I found this piece I did some time ago, together with another pirate woman. For her face I used a reference slightly because it had a good head position and it's unusual to draw it this way, so I had to look at some actual pose and this beautiful photo was perfect: fav.me/d2hpop0I decided not to copy but to use the idea. The result is a pirate lady who seems to have gone mad after seeking revenge for years. She has just caught her prey.
