There's a new Star Trek RPG comming out #StarTrekAdventures from Modiphius GB and I took the liberty and used this design for my players ship-design. Calling it the Hammer-Class.Β
I sure hope you won't mind me using this design for a private Session, I do twitter about it sometimes but I also try to include sources. (I am not infalable so I might have forgotten already once or twice)

You can also find the Google Drive document where I am working on design elements, wire frames, Decklayout etc. I am kinda kit-bashing.Β

Thanks for this great design it has inspired me a lot and the players seem to look forward to take the bridge.Β
I sure hope it will be alright with you.
regards,
Picture Bandit aka. MichaelΒ

Hi Picture-Bandit.
The Hammer is slightly smaller than Voyager.
I designed her trying to think of the next step after the Defiant. Β Advancements in ablative armour technology as well as reducing its vulnerable components.
Thats why I made the nacelles deploy outward for warp but then rotate underneath to hide them under the hull when in battle.

I did ask 2 years ago... but whatever... it's just a privat Star Trek Session and the drive is disabled now...Β

New favorite TNG-Era Starfleet design. I mean, right up there with the Defiant.

Awesome ! what is her Bridge configurationΒ

Since she has a singular hull, the Bridge acts as a detachable module just like a Captains Yacht - except the captain can just sit in his chair and go for a spin!
The Shuttle Observation Deck behind the bridge is also detachable.

Looks even more impressive than sketch version.
What was that song by McHammer...? You can't touch this.

You need to submit this to the people who make star trek, I want to see this thing take on a Warbird.

Nice work. Β The rotating nacelles are a great idea, makes Voyager worthwhile.Β

She looks a bruiser!
Adam has done a splendid job on this baby!!
Is there a pic with these features like the rotatable nacelles, and detachable command modules?

Back in my gallery is original sketch of the hammer plus it shows how the nacelles pivot around so the outer nacelle sits against the deflector and the phaser barrels are exposed.
