This just gave me an amazing idea. You guys know how Desmond goes threw the bleeding affect what if as a result it's like Desmond's personality goes to sleep. And eather Altair or Ezio's personalities wake up an are in control of Desmond's body and it can happen at eny time. How's that for inspiration.

When I see this, I think of two men losing a person who has been techincally watching over them most of their lives, being there for them while they were going through their worst and their best. They formed a kind of 'bond' with him and became familiar with Desmond's presence. With him dying, they're losing that feeling of 'protection' and familial bond. Heart-wrenching.

Well, in fairness Desmond is their descendant so if they found out he was dying I doubt they'd be very happy about it, Ezio might be even more pissed since he'd be like 'You're Desmond the phantom?! Explain what the witch said!'Β

Ladies and gentlemen, the most unappreciated aspect of Assassin's Creed: the animus!
I love the concept of the animus because it makes sense in a historical fiction setting. I mean think about it: what better way to throw someone in history than to put the bodies of his ancestors?
Do any of you have any famous ancestors in your time? Because if I had an animus, I could be synchronizing the memories of John Smith and Pocahontas.
