Another stamp!
And this is my first animated one! 
I do support Gerard Butler's singing in The Phantom of the Opera. Some people don't like his voice, but I do. I respect their opinions, though.
Please tell me if you use this.

I definitely support Gerik! So many people hate the 2004 version, but I think it's great. I mean, not all movies are absolutely perfect. Yeah, so what if Gerard Butler played as Erik. The Michael Crawford phans claim that Gerard is too pretty. But hell, ALW was the one to make Erik prettier by only making him half deformed to begin with. So what the hell? They need to get over it.
And I thought Gerard sounded great. To be quite honest, I do NOT like Michael Crawford's voice. AT. ALL. I bet I'd get a lot of crap for saying that, but boo-hoo, and yay for opinions.
I just think that Michael's voice is too high, but that's my own opinion. Gerard's is deep and seductive sounding. I think he also did a great job playing as an angry Erik.
Some people actually claim that Emmy isn't a good enough singer, and that baffles me. She was fantastic! I sure as hell wouldn't be able to hit any of the notes she could, lol!

Emmy did great; I was amazed when I first heard her sing. So hearing people complain about her voice just makes me shake my head. It takes some real talent to hit those high notes and keep them from wavering and stuff. Lol, Carlotta sounds better than me when I sing.
I adore Gerard's voice especially in Music of the Night. It's so soothing.

It does, and she has some major talent. I think she's brilliant in the movie. The actress who plays Carlotta does a wonderful job, too. Oh, I love his voice in Music of the Night. And Point of No Return. His voice is so seductive in that song.

Oooh, I definitely agree! I wish we could see Gerard dressed up as Erik again! It would've been great if that happened a few months ago, considering that the 2004 film is now 10 years old! Ten years oooooooooold~! (Either you'll get that joke or not *Cough* Lover Never Dies *Cough*)

I LOVE his voice!
He's the first Phantom I've seen and heard when I first saw the movie before themusical, fell in love with his singing, and is my #1 favorite of al the Phantoms!

hmmm are you sure it was Gerard Butler singing? I compared the movie to recordings of Michael Crawford and I'm pretty sure Gerad Butler wasn't singing...correct me if I'm wrong!

As much as I love Phantom, I conveniently either forgot, or failed to ever realize it was Gerard Butler.
(Or in the case of younger me, who the hell he was.)

Yes, I think he made a wonderful Phantom. I had no clue who he was until after I watched the movie for the first time. lol
And I know. It's just because he doesn't sound like some of the stage Phantoms, I guess.

I'm useless at pop-culture. It was only when I'd seen 300 that when I was watching my mam came up and said, 'Mmm. The Phantom's nice." Then read the box and got all fangirly because it was Gerard Butler. >.>
luckily, she'd been watching P.S I Love You not too long before, so i actually realized who the hell he was. Up until then the Phantom had been a mystery to me. :L
Gerard is my favorite, followed by Ramin. I want to go and see LND because he's in it. And despite the skewed plot, it's a good show. ><
