"There isn't anyone to help you. Only me. And I'm the Beast."I've been meaning to draw this scene for years, finally got around to it.
Expect lots of edits because the more I stare at it, the more things I see wrong with it.

I love the atmosphere, colors, and Simon's expression! The flies surrounding him are a nice little touch

Wow. I know this is one of your older pieces, but it still looks terrific! I think my favorite aspect of it is the way everything in the background appears hazy so that the subjects stand out that much more. It also gives the effect of us, as viewers, seeing a fever dream. The coloring's terrific.

So, the Beast was actually a Jack's head-of-a pig-on-a-spear and Simon's hallucination when he talked to it?
What about when Ralph and Jack encountered the beast and ran away from it? I'm a bit confused.

I drew Thi scene very soon after reading this for school, it was always really powerful to me so I was surprised more people didn't draw it. This rendition is beautifully done though, really close to what I imagined.
