A sequel to a picture I made a while back, called 'Warm Wind from the South' drosera-sundews.deviantart.com… and was, like this picture, a motivational picture for a friend of mine who wants to be a writer but needs some motivation.

The last picture actually worked very well. My friend wrote the prologue of the book she wants to write. A fantasy story about an ice dragon. (It is in Dutch and she doesn't have deviantart so I fear you guys won't be seeing anything of it anytime soon). I am very excited about it and I hope this picture will result in a 'chapter 1'.

This picture is entirely based off the prologue I red. The people on the horses are traveling into the territory of a dragon, high up in the mountains. Planning on catching and taming the noble beast. I would love to tell you all more but I'm not sure if I can do that, since it's not my book and all...

Also, this picture has mountains. I finally learned to draw mountains. Although it took quite a bit if reference to get the hang of it.
This was referenced from about six pictures, so the lightsource is kind of weirdish.

In case someone is interested in the technical aspect of this picture. I drew it with a pencil. I'm not sure what kind of pencil it was, only that is was lovely greenish-blue in color.
Also photoshop, because the picture I took was crappy. Still counts as traditional though.
