Ya.. most of them were pretty badly deteriorated.. those ones were fairly decent

I can imagine. If you don't store them safely they get damaged really quickly by environmental conditions.

Yeah I can imagine. My father has been scanning old slides for years now. They are not from the 60s but some from the 70s. Lots are in decent conditions though because he always stored them in special boxes etc.
