Description Another one from the Yukon River. This is the view at Upper Canyon Village I think. Upper and Lower Canyon Village are two small, now abandoned settlements by the native people of these lands. You can still see a few remains.

Location: Upper Canyon Village, Whitehorse, Yukon River, Yukon Territory, Canada

Everything that day was amazing, I had a big smile on my face. Glad I could pass a tiny piece of it on to you.

Danke! Ich hatte es erst waagerecht probiert, aber vertikal schien mir hier dann doch besser und hat sich nachher auf dem PC auch bestΓ€tigt.

Welcome.. I have a couple old shots from up there that I scanned a long time back.. one is the milepost farm at Watson LakeΒ  Β  The other was an indian burial ground cemetary near Dawson's CreekΒ

Awesome! Uploading old slides is a pain in the ass. Glad you did it!

I can imagine. If you don't store them safely they get damaged really quickly by environmental conditions.

Yeah I can imagine. My father has been scanning old slides for years now. They are not from the 60s but some from the 70s. Lots are in decent conditions though because he always stored them in special boxes etc.

That's too bad. But at long as you can see what's on there it should be fine to bring back the memories, right?
