hahahahaha holy damn, it's a drawing from my imagination, and it's about as physically unrealistic as it gets. To tell the truth, I never thought about the technical aspects of that city.
But I guess it's a city on the top of a very, véry steep mountain. If you want to know, I had sceneries of the Ghibli movie "Laputa" in my mind, but only faintly. That's all it is, I'm afraid. Just drawings with no real sense or meaning behind it. Dreams, if you like.
