I agree about the nature, I get my inspiration from it either! If you have goals for portraits and still life you will do it! Desire is the great thing! In the early years and especially at art college all my works was quick and dirty. I think it's good for landscapes because similar works always will have atmosphere, detailed landscape painting can be boring.

This piece is nice, but the trees seem to be stuck in, or even out of place. the colors are good and well balanced, The mounatins/hills seem a little, I dunno, something. There's something about them that looks added in....But I gotta say that the forefront details are marvelous. It makes me feel as though I'm walking through a field and staring out into the horizon.
