As a child, I always stood with my father at the window and we looked at the thunderstorm together. That's how I lost my fear of it. The worst thunderstorm I have experienced was on the Greek island of Rhodes. It was like the end of the world. All hotel guests and the staff gathered in the lobby and shivered together.

wow, that is interesting about the hotel guests and staff.  I was always afraid of the lightning.  For years I had a phobia about it, because it is uncontrollable, and I never felt safe when it was really bad, but I finally got over that phobia.  Now I just want to take pictures of lighting.  You have to be REALLY Fast to do that!

That's still fractals?
If so, that's very impressive. This one reminds me of a volcanic eruption.
