Winnie is a very soft soul, far too trusting and far to easy to hurt. She is known to be absent minded, day dreaming or simply caught up in her thoughts, though is noticeably intelligent, and sharp when she is paying attention. Being the only child of a German couple, she grew up adored but also raised strict; after all, she was her parents only daughter, so she had to be their sole representation of their parenting. Due to this she was raised to respect people, to not get confrontational, and to be a "yes" type of person. At the age of seven, to try and teach her to be hardworking instead of giving up, she was enrolled in ballet. She never really cared too much for ballet; it was simply something she was raised to do, and did it because she was raised to not say no to her parents. (she once voiced to her parents that she didn't really like ballet, a few months after starting; they manipulated her by saying she was just giving up like she always did, so she stayed in the sport.) She got her first pair of pointe shoes at the age of twelve, when her teacher finally deemed her ready for them.

However, the summer before her sophmore year, her family moved for work, and couldn't afford the ballet classes in here in the city. Very content with this development, but with far too much free time on her hands, Winnie picked up recreational ice skating over summer to escape the heat, and found she enjoyed it far more than ballet. When starting school, she saw there was an ice skating team, and figured she would join; at least it would look good on college applications.
