*explodes from cuteness overload* I like how Keiss looks like he's in water. I consider selkies to take to water like ducks/be strong swimmers. Their town is built on top of water after all. And in mythology, selkies can transform into seals, did you know that?

Youre welcome. I also picture them with elf ears, because with rounded ears, they look too much like clavats. Almost impossible to tell the difference.

Fun fact(warning, contains theories)
If those two were to have a kid, it would be called a clavie, the offspring of a male clavat and a female selkie, the other way around would be selkat. Just like ligers are the offspring of male lions and female tigers, the other way around are tigons. The kid would also be sterile, as all real world hybrids are. And since 50% of the genes in a crystal bearer are crystalized, there's a 50% chance that the said clavie would also be a crystal bearer.
