The idea of balance and harmony.You cannot have day without night.
You cannot have good without bad.
You cannot have happiness without sadness.
Opposites that cannot exist without the other.

I've wanted to draw something like this for a while but never got round to it. I put alot of thought into the design of the dresses as well.

I adore contrasting pictures involving opposites (if that makes any sense) so I'm excited to see you've drawn something to that theme. The girl in black (representing Yin I think) is the better out of the two in my opinion, her dress is more detailed and the colouring is seriously good, I know how hard it can be to colour things in black. THE skin tone used for the Yang girl is really pretty too, it looks so realistic. And as for the background, it's excellent-ly smooth, and I like the little white outline the Yin girl has. Well done!
