When you mention he was in space I didn't need to have watch the show to get what you mean. You have a scene of him doing his special move on your DA page where the environment change from the soccer field to space. And then he kicks the ball so hard it comes down like a meteor (Even if I don't have much evidence to question does most sports anime have characters unleashing Fantasy like moves? A manga base anime called The Prince of Tennis had characters doing something similar?) Well, the scene was very cool.

Haha, it was a comment I had to put down before I had that webcam of him doing that move.
And no, the superpowers from the soccer balls what makes this show stand out from the other sports animes. Though I only watched one episode of Prince of Tennis so I wouldn't know if it's the only one of its kind.
(It's better than it sounds, lol)

The superpowers comes from the person kicking the soccer balls. I remember one episode when a character would use his "soccer technique" to break a door or something, lol

Actually it's not anywhere near my favorite(though the great thing about the series is that they give even the minor characters a chance to be important), but I love the character designs. XD
I have to thank the series though for somehow getting me to finish stuff like this much quicker.

I know the feeling. It's like it takes me forever to actually want to start an anime, but when I start, I just burn through them really quickly...

lol I feel the same way too. I would only get into 0-2 animes a year(all of them with only 25-50 episodes at most, with the exception of Inazuma) =w=

Dear lord, I can't get past the standard 26 xD. I tried to watch Shugo Chara!, and after the 30th episode, I was so burned out from it!

The only anime I've watched that is past the standard 26 is well, this anime, Full Metal Alchemist, Soul Eater and Eureka Seven.
Aside from those, I generally avoid any anime past those number of episodes, unless they actually continue the story and not have too much fillers in the middle. =w=

Yes I know the feeling! I think for me though, the longest anime I have watched was Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Z. But yes, 26 is my limit.

Unless it's something like Slice of Life...Then Hidamari Sketch, Lucky Star, and Azumanga would be nice to have be much longer xD.
