A majestic male lion at the Ft. Worth Zoo, TX (one of the top rated US zoo'z and the ratings are right for sure!) He was napping quietly and suddenly got up to roar but sadly the roaring photo's didn't turn up quite to my liking but this before shot did and i find it captures the quiet (heh pun) dignity of this great beast. Yes i know the picture's a bit blurry but that was my camera at the time so can't do much about that sadly..
