I GOT… WAYYY OUT MY COMFORT ZONE WHEN DRAWING HIM. I think this is the most complex character I’d ever drew. I thought Zero from Megaman X was complex, but in comparison, drawing Zero is like a walk in the park. I spent ALL DAY DRAWING THIS FELLA. Usually it takes me an hour or less when doing regular drawings but that’s because a majority of my OCS are Stickmen which the entire aesthetic of Stickmen is simplicity, or Megaman which the reason why I always been a fan of megaman is because of the cute and simple characters. Now that I’ve grew up, I’m starting to like more complex designs, and Gravity Circuit was a gold mine of everything I liked! So I wanted to get invested into it! And decided to draw fanart. And the character I picked was Bit whose the shift circuit, because I really like his color scheme. And he’s speed themed which reminds me of Quickman from Megaman 2 whose like one of my major most favorite characters of all time. Bit even has a personality similar to quickman, every speedy type guy always got a cocky personality. Not because of Sonic or the Flash, but racers are stereotyped to be cocky because they wanna win the race. So yeah. I think Bit would be my favorite out the bunch, so I wanted to draw him!
Gawd it was hell to get to him because of all the complex shapes he has. PLUS HIS LEGS WERE THE HARDEST PART BECAUSE I COULDN’T FIND ANY CLEAR REFERENCES TO HIS LEGS. So I had to improvise. The closest and clearest image I could see of his legs was this promotion art which was what this art was based off of, and I had to study his pose so hard to make it PERFECT 👌. And I spent like… 5 hours making this… A MAJORITY OF IT WAS THANKS TO GETTING HIS BODY CORRECT, then the coloring was a walk in the park. BUT THE SHAPES. Since I have an art style that heavily depends on the shapes of my characters, this was an important break through for my art… and I should learn better shapes and more complex designs, because I personally desire to be better. I think I could also make more characters with complex designs. I might try drawing more characters from the game… IF THERE WAS BETTER REFERENCES FOR THEM. You should also see what I went through for the sketch, I want to upload the sketch for studying, because I need to remember how to do this again for another character, or heck if i even want to draw this character again.

Also something semi-related to the character, he’s the speedy type and his map is surrounded by vehicles. About cars. I JUST GOT MY OFFICIAL DRIVER LICENSE YESTERDAY, WHICH MEANS I CAN LEGALLY DRIVE. I think I’m gonna drive… TODAY. Because the food at my house isn’t so good and I wanna recreate the food at Starbucks. Don’t judge me, I think it’s healthy for me because I really like their sandwiches, and it’s my best intake for vegetables. I love sandwiches. And wanna make my own at home, while also making my own tea, because I always order green tea from Starbucks when I have plenty of green tea packets at home. But I want peach juice and lemonade in my tea and I don’t have those. So I wanna go grocery shopping…. I’m highly afraid of buying cheese because it would be expensive…. I only need mozzarella which i think should be cheap… But I hope I don’t crash today…. And I am 100% sure I can actually drive by myself… because I still feel like I can’t because I don’t know if my driver license is like totally legit because it looks similar to my last one which was only a permit… BUT TIME TO FIND OUT… Wish me luck~
