Description 18x24 comic collage made from John Byrne's short but masterful run on The Incredible Hulk. All background images are ones Byrne penciled during this run and the image is a recreation of his cover for The Incredible Hulk #314
*Everything* you see is comic book. No marker, paint, or alternate paper. Took about 120 hours to complete.

I think it's too easy for the casual viewer to underestimate the craftsmanship that has gone into this.

It does just look like a drawing of the main character over a collage of related imagery. Easy to miss that the collage IS the image.

And yeah, it's definitely an issue. I get a lot of questions on my etsy site like 'can you do a Venom one by next week for a gift?' 

It's a bit easier at conventions because the canvases are on the table and people can actually touch them and get really close to see how much detail goes into one piece. I wish DA had a feature that allowed multiple images per deviation, I'd add some super close ups to show that not only is the color of the image a collage, but the black lines are all pieces of cut paper as well.
