Everything you see is comic book. No marker, paint, ink, or alternate paper. Just comic books and glue. Most original pieces take approx. 100-250 hours to complete

Hi!

I revealed the photo to the world many years ago, and own the only known original, uncropped print. The photo was shot on the Pinewood Studios set in October 1977 by David Farrell. Here is the photo as it appears on my website, capedwonder.com: www.capedwonder.com/wp-content…

So you literally use actual comic book paper pages to create this? No computer, no scanning, etc.? I am intrigued by your process and would love to see a photo shot from one side to see the "3D" layers of paper.

Could you please let me know the price to commission the same size as this one, using the same photo of Christopher Reeve, but with Gary Frank comic book pages from his series, Secret Origins, where he draws Superman like Christopher Reeve?

My email is capedwonder.editor@gmail.com.

Thanks so much!

Jim

Oh cool! Did you take the photo/do you know who did? I thought it was just a common publicity/stock photo that he used to base the graffiti template from. Let me know and I can give credit on here.
And I do! The original hasn't been delivered to it's new owner yet, and I don't sell giclees until the person who commissioned the original piece has theirs in hand. It should be up in the next week or two though! at www.etsy.com/shop/ComicReliefOriginals
