Description The Chinese believe in a dual philosophy; where yin represents the feminine aspect, and yang represents the masculine aspect.
Creation consists of opposites. Heaven and Earth, Male and Female, Water and Land, rising and sinking.
One cannot exist without the other. And you cannot reject one, without rejecting the other.
These concepts came to life for me in Beijing.

Long after the smell has left my memory, these images will remind me of the mysteries of this amazing land.

I love China

I like the idea of your yin and yang concept. in my point of view, this picture also represent this. the shadow and the screen under the sun. I am really concerns that how to keep the ancient while develop the modern era.

Oh my god! I think I've been there and I didn't even recognise it! I think I helped drive a pedalo under that bridge. Is it the Summer palace or am I wrong?
Great photo of it in any case

Very nice. I would also suggest going to your local cathedral (if you Americans have any...) or church and photographing the works of art and stained glass windows there.

Lovely. I think I'd be tempted to "fiddle" with the colours, and maybe dodge some of it a little to get some lighter tones in it to balance out the dark "framing"
