Here is a painting from a few years ago, it is a very personal work to me, as it draws from a lot of my experience as a child in an abusive family situation. A lot of my work is about taking negative emotions and experiences and transforming them into a piece of art, thus creating something positive out of the negative, and in a sense overcoming those things and making them my own, using them as a force for good. Art is one of the last true alchemies, in my opinion.
