The Colored Version... and it took forever to color this!
I didn't even count how many layers I used either - all I can say is that I used A LOT! XD

Also... it's Deviation # 300 in my Gallery!
(ha... I hadn't said anything about having over 10,500 page views yet... oh well XD ).

I was planning to draw Allied versions of the Axis Powers drawing I did earlier with the flags in the background, but I ended up drawing another Hetalia OC pic of the Philippines. XD
And instead of a full-body version of her, I made this - a pic of countries that had or almost had conquered her throughout her history: Spain, England, Germany, America, and Japan (China and France were also in the region - but France had Vietnam and Seychelles, and China had more of a "Big Brother" influential role; also, neither of the two had major intensions to own her).

Of the mentioned countries, Spain and America had the longest time owning the Philippines, so that's why she's being smothered by the two (Spain had control for over 300 years; America had her for over a century, but gave her independence on 4 July 1946).
As for the other countries... England owned her for 3 years when Spain lost to him (he did warn Spain that he would "kick his ass" if his pirates were harassed XD ), Germany was ready to take her away on a ship waiting at Manila during the Spanish-American War, and Japan invaded her land during WW2.

I just realized if I had a larger sheet of paper and squeezed Japan in between Germany and America, the pic would of been heart-shaped.
Oh well...

Well... I plan on resuming my watercolor portraits, making the Allies versions, and some new original art now, so it might be a while before I'll post something up again.
