You all remember the great version of Ela by [link]Well this is my own version of my TAC Exchange character Princess Ela Abelia!! XD I love how they are both so different.

I had a lot of fun with this one, she took a while but she was fun to make! I also payed close attention to my shadows, thanks to some friendly advice from Hope you think it is an improvement!
I got a free copy of Bryce 5 with my Imagine FX mag, so I thought I would try my hand at doing the background in that program! Thankyou so much to my beautiful man for helping me with it! o_O

thanks for your comment, and its just an unfortunate fact of the art world that we need copyright watermarks on our art, at least if people really want to see it without the watermark they can buy pritns etc ^^

She looks sad and tired, different then the other characters you have painted, interesting. Nice job on this atypical skin tones can be hard to do.

REALLY!! I am SO GLAD you think she looks that way! In the refernce photo she looked REALLY sad and tired, like the weight of the wold was upon her, and i wanted to capture that look for Ela, because she was fighting this battle to save her planet and all her subjects were looking up to her. WOW, I am SO ECSTATIC that you saw that, becasue after i had finished this piece I didnt think she looked as shagged out as she ought to!! XD You are the only person to pick up on that!! You totally made my day!!

I noticed it off the bat in full view. I was like "Hmm she has these huge bags under her eyes, is that on purpose?" *looks closer* It must be, wow she looks beat! I mean still sexy but beat, poor girl.

Wow! This is one kick-ass blue-babe! And I like Crossbrace's idea about maybe blurring the background, as one might do in a photograph giving that depth of view.

by the way the colors reminds me of Tunare of Everquest - except she's a high elf as opposed to a dark elf but her clothing is blue and gold
