temptation....it is what brings our desires forward
bringing forward those fantasies that we keep inside
causing our wildest dreams to not only inspire us
but make us want to do those things that we normally wouldn't do
turning our unexciting lives into an adventure
an adventure that changes our lives
and wanting the source of that temptation to join us
amplifying the pleasure that it would bring
a pleasure so intense that it can turn us into someone other than what we were before
a pleasure that sends delicious chills down the center of our spines
causing a heat inside of us that burns so hot, that we sweat even on the coldest of nights
temptation....
howling through our minds with a ferocity that blinds us
blinding us with a recklessness that causes us to forget the consiquences of our actions
consequenses that we either no longer care about or even consider
consequenses that will only cause whatever it is we are doing to seem unimportant
seeking only to fulfill the dreams we want to act out
dreams, no matter how unobtainable we try to reach them anyway
reaching with a grasp that is strong but unsure
strong because we think that what we are reaching for is what we actually want
unsure because we don't know what may or may not happen
temptation....
hoping that what we want is what we need we try to achieve the unachievable
unachievable bacause what we want is something that may lead to disaster
a disaster that can not only destroy our ambitions but our sanity as well
a sanity that is both fragile and strong,
a sanity held together by the things that make up who we are
a sanity that can be lost by the simplist of words, and the smallest of actions
but never the less...
we push forward anyway
