This popped into my head while I was reading Fullmetal Alchemist.The one on the right is, of course, Ed Elric, and the one on the left is, you guessed it, VAN HOENHEIM!(when he was young, of course.
)in case you haven't noticed, Hoenheim was a slave back then.
It was a little difficult to keep them at the same height, and Hoenheim's feet were KILLING ME!!!
.....I wanted to "touch up" Ed's spear a little bit, cause I wanted some of his personality to take place a little more with how he loves to put some of his touch into objects.
"......What? this looks totally BADA$$!" -Ed
*sigh* Ed always loves detail....AND SO DO I!!!!
Don't like it? TOO BAD!
anyway, yes, that is Ed's coat tied around his waist.
........I don't think Ed sould be so mad at his father, well, he did get his looks from him.......
Grrr....Ed's automail didn't come out shiny.

Yeah, I was caught off-guard by how much Young Hoenheim looked like Ed. At first I was confused and thought I WAS looking at Ed until the manga said otherwise.
Great job with both of them, though Hoenheim's hair could've turned out better. Love Ed's spear and how it kind of mirrors the mop!

Awesome!! It's the new design on the auto-mail! And nice touches on the spear/blade thing (my sources tell me that's a yari).

Yep, it has a lot more interesting lines than the last go round.
I honestly thought Arakawa had done a weird time jump and Ed had somehow been transported to the past?? I dunno...I seriously thought it WAS Ed.

I figured he wasn't joking and that he's just mellowed out a lot over the years. Can you imagine being that angry and pissy for however many 100 years he's been alive? I have a feeling Ed will mellow out some too.
But to see just how VERY SIMILAR they were....kina spooky! O_O
