These look great. I am looking at the book my self. Did you just copy or draw from memory? I trying to figure the best way to learn.

Copy! Copy as much as you can! You're not going to learn anything from relying on your memory. If anything, you'll just reinforce bad habits that you already have. The great thing about copying someone else's work is that it forces you to get out of your own head and try to think like another artist, which will help you to grow and learn new techniques.

Meh, this is just sketchbook paper from a book I picked up at Walgreens. When I'm feeling picky about my paper, though, I either go with Strathmore Bristol (the thickest they've got) or illustration board. PITT pens work well with either of those.

Nicely done. I read an interview with Dave Finch and he notes the best advise he got on drawing anatomy was to copy all the illustrations in G. Bridgman's book "Constructive Anatomy".

Really?! That's awesome! I had to buy it for a figure drawing class in college, but I've used it ever since. It's so good.

I don't blame you, the book really is very good. Dave Finch is one but Jim Lee said in a video interview his preference for George Bridgman's books too. You are definitely in good company!

Amazing hands! I'd honestly sell my left foot if I could draw a damn hand. Instead, I got all Rob Liefield about it.

That book was actually required for a figure drawing class I had in college, but I still use it all the time. I love it.

I got the opportunity to use the book in conjunction with a live model for reference. It was very, very informative. Probably one of the best classes I've ever taken.

My figure class teacher had the "here's a nude model, draw them as best you can," approach haha
Though we did get some instruction, just not as informative as Bridgman's books. I think I learned more about structure and the way the body bends and twists in my anatomy class.
