Reggie and Lars (my fave Rocket Power ship) sharing a kiss under the boardwalk. This is a new drawing I made in Illustrator and Photoshop, just in time for Valentine's Day. In this piece, I imagine them to be in their late teens.The title is a reference to the following lyrics, which I found oddly appropriate:
"You took the words right out of my mouth
Oh, it must have been while you were kissing me
You took the words right out of my mouth
And I swear it's true, I was just about to say I love you"

Reggie and Lars look so cute together. Even though I've paired them with OCs. Reggie with Ramon Jose (OC) and Lars with Natalia Suarez (OC). and speaking of my OCs, I'm trying to figure out how to draw them exactly as how they would look on the show. Do you have any good ideas?
and by the way, I'm currently planning on writing a Lars x Reggie one-shot, but it's going to be more of a songfic. and the name of it is going to be called: "Ours" by Taylor Swift.

As for ideas on drawing your OCs in the Rocket Power style, I'm not sure? I guess for me the only things I try to keep in mind are how the characters have big heads compared to the rest of their bodies & how they seem to choose from the same 2 or 3 eye and nose shapes for a lot of the characters. Other than that, maybe just going back and watching some of the episodes & studying the character design might help? Anyway, I'd love to see what your OCs look like!
