Description My first attempt at HDRI, I love hdr photographs and I wanted to try it myself..
also used my new camera on a stand for the first time!
I used Photomatix Pro & Photoshop but I'm new to hdri obviously so if anyone has any tips or advice feel free to help me!
I'm not usually a landscape person, I always draw myself to macro.
But I've been trying to experiment with different things this summer, this being one of them.

The sky kinda failed it being all white an all, but I love everything else about it, especially the sun!

Good job. Maybe try and get more underexposed image(s) for sky detail. You are on the right path!

Oooft. I always tend to use macro too, but this is amazing. Maybe a bit less green xD But still... wow! x

If I may suggest, shoot somthing with more contrast between each other. In this image most of the colors are very close to the same, in HDR you want to bring out the very highs, lows an shadows inbetween. So blue sky, golden landscape kind of contrast to really bring some color out an make it pop. Then when u adjust it, make sure you try an keep from putting to much of one tone or color

Ahh, so stay away from where everything is green?

Well green is ok, but you need seperation maybe with a pond an sky added into the image. play around with it an have fun!

Well I'm not going to turn this one into a photo manipulation,
but I will keep your advice in mind for next time I'm taking shots!

no no, I'm saying when you go out to take your photographs choose a place that has those things that you can have in your image.
