inspired by different songs of different bands: The Cure (album "17 seconds"), Depeche Mode (their really old stuff), VNV nation ("Solitary"). Yep.

sorry, quality is not so good, i was arguing with Photoshop, trying to put scanned pieces of large picture together :[

I love your use of color in the shadows. I'm making it a personal goal of mine to use more blue in my work, too. It just seems to enhance other colors more...

I think this is absolutely beautiful. I think you've captured his mood and presence perfectly, I love the softness of the colours and how they make the picture kind of dream-like, the two sides together make it look as if the painting could be a movie still. The atmosphere is amazing. Makes you want to know more about what is going on in this image.
